Help and resources for finding a landscaping employee in BC

Hiring this spring?

Like many of you, last year we had the task of trying to find an employee in Vancouver’s challenging labour market. It’s that time of year again for many of you so we wanted to share some of our research in the hope that this information will lead to your next great hire!

Social Media

Facebook
As of February 2017 this is new free service from Facebook for your business page.
new free business page job posting tab” or you can pay…“how to target more local people”

Instagram
Create an account and post some photos of your work. Create a job ad photo “we are hiring” and post for free or pay to sponsor the post and target more people in your area.

Linked-in
A bit of work to set up your company page and use as a free option or pay a fee of around $200 but the strength of Linked-in is recruiting. This site is more useful for finding management, certified and experienced people.

And if you have any accounts set up with the other social networks like Twitter, Google plus etc don’t forget to post your job opportunity so others in those networks can share to people they know.
